Our goal at Envision Travel is to listen to you and work with you to plan a trip that exceeds your expectations, while working within your budget. There is no cookie-cutter one size fits all approach - we design each trip individually. Here are the basic ways we can plan your travel.
Cruising: Ocean cruising with a major carrier, river cruising through Europe or Asia, expedition cruising to the Galapagos or the Antarctic, we have trusted partners in each category. When you think cruising, you automatically think big-ship ocean cruising. However, river cruising and expedition cruising have become very popular options over the last few years. From 40 guests to 5,000 - ships come in all shapes and sizes (and budgets). We can help find the right ship and itinerary for you.
City/Country Land Tours: Whether it’s a European adventure or a trip through National Parks of the US, land tours come in all shapes and sizes. Do you have an idea of what you want to see - but no idea how to plan it? We can help figure it out for you. These trips can be fully escorted or independent.
All-Inclusive: Dreaming about sipping a fruity cocktail at a swim up bar overlooking the ocean? We’ve got you covered. Primarily in the Caribbean, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica - these trips are excellent for an unwind and de-stress kind of trip. From high end to budget friendly - from adults only to multi-generational - there's an all-inclusive that matches what you're looking for.
A Mix: How about a Mediterranean cruise, coupled with a couple days in Europe either pre and/or post cruise. We can combine several different types of travel to customize the best trip for you.
How do you want to travel?
Escorted Travel: This is the more traditional group travel tours. The groups can range in size from small to large, but you have a tour guide with you taking you to all your stops and either guiding you themselves or passing you to a local guide. Generally speaking transportation and lodging are included. These types of trips tend to be best for those new to travel, new to the location or someone that wants stress free travel where someone takes care of everything. This is also a great option for solo travelers, groups that want to travel together and those that enjoy meeting folks from all over.
Fully Independent Travel On a fully independent travel vacation, we plan out flights, hotels, transportation, tours and experiences - but you are your own “tour manager”. These types of trips tend to be best for the more experienced traveler or someone who is looking to make the pace of the trip their own.
Curated Private Travel: This is a nice combination of both independent and fully escorted travel. It is traditionally a curated trip that I help you create - where we hire a driver, plan activities and you get the benefit of both independent travel and escorted services. Best for travelers that prefer custom trips and have a higher budget.
Which is the right type? The short answer is - it depends - on the traveler, on the location or both. I personally travel in all of the above forms - it just depends on the circumstance. We can help you figure out what the right type of travel is for you and plan accordingly.
Take a look at the sample itineraries below - they include various trips we've planned over the last several months.
But want to book your own accommodations...
Research & Planning Fee Based Travel Planning Assistance
Our Professional Services Fee covers your consultation, our research and recommendations, preparation of itineraries and trip plans. This fee allows you as the client to take advantage of our services and expertise, but gives you the flexibility to book your own hotel, tours and transportation.
We take pride in providing personalized travel planning services to our valued clients. We understand that every traveler has unique needs and preferences, and we strive to create customized travel itineraries that match their expectations. In cases where the client wishes to book accommodations or other arrangements outside our scope (i.e, AirBnB or VRBO rentals), we offer a research and planning fee service.
To deliver these tailored services, we charge planning and research fees. These fees are designed to cover the time and expertise required to plan and organize a seamless travel experience that meets your specific requirements. We are transparent about our fees and will always discuss them with you upfront, so you know exactly what to expect. Understanding that Travel Advisors usually receive compensation from resorts after clients travel, this research and planning fee allows us to be compensated for our time and effort, while giving the flexibility to the client to choose to book accommodations on their own.
We're confident that the level of service and attention to detail you'll experience with us makes this fee a valuable part of your travel planning process. We believe that the value of our services far exceeds the cost of our fees, as we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every aspect of your travel journey is carefully planned and executed to perfection.

I'm a life long traveler. My first big trip was when I was 18 years old and went on a school trip to Europe. That made me fall in love with travel and experiencing different cultures. I've been traveling ever since.
I've traveled in every form and fashion - from ultra budget (backpacking through Europe) to ultra luxury and everything in between. I specialize in Europe, the Americas and Caribbean adventures - both on land and sea!
If you are looking for an advisor to guide you to the perfect trip for your budget - look no further. I pride myself on custom, curated trips for any budget.
Some of our FAQs
What is the cost to use your services?
Generally speaking, our fees are paid for by the tour companies. If, however, you would like to use our services to plan the trip itinerary and activities, but you prefer to book the components on your own, we can discuss with you our fee schedule.
How do you make money?
We only get paid if you travel. We hope that those that ask us to do research on a trip will use our services. However, we understand sometimes plans change and trips are not possible. In the cases where we spent the time researching, but a client doesn't book with us - we don't make any money. The tour companies pay us AFTER you travel.
Why do you sometimes charge Research & Planning Fees?
When we plan a trip where the client wants to take our knowledge, recommendations and trip plans, but prefers to book components on their own, we charge professional service fees for the research and planning that goes into creating the custom itinerary. Any fees will be discussed, agreed to and paid prior to work being completed. This ensures we get paid for our time and expertise.
Do I need Travel Insurance?
While that is a personal decision, with these crazy travel times, I always offer to give you an insurance quote. I am not an insurance agent, so I can suggest companies to use that we know are well respected and provide you with the contact information to discuss further. I will say that I do personally use travel insurance for my own travels.
Can you book cruises?
Yes! We have a preferred partnership with all of the major cruise lines. What does that mean? We can oftentimes get you additional perks, a lower price, or both.
I found this awesome activity - can you book it?
Yes! We have relationships with a multitude of tour operators, which allows us to book tours with confidence. I can also offer suggested activities for any place you travel.
I want to stay in a Villa/House - can you book that?
Yes! We have relationships with various companies that offer villa/Home rentals in (surprisingly) many price ranges, both in the US and all over the world.
Can you plan a tour that I want - and not just put us in a group tour?
Yes - we work with many companies that allow us to curate a trip to your exact specifications - whether it’s private driver, private tour guides, or even private chef and cooking lessons. You think it up - I can probably make it happen!
